Manar Hazaa
Manar Hazaa is an Egyptian children's writer. She holds a Master's degree in International Education Policy from Harvard University, as well as a Master's degree in Anthropology from the American University in Cairo. Her recent academic research focuses on language and literacy, and parental engagement in education.
In 2018, in Cairo, Hazaa founded a storytelling initiative for children that is primarily based on parental involvement and aims to foster a culture of storytelling for young audiences. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the project has shifted to a virtual format, with sessions now conducted via Zoom. Currently, Manar serves as a Teaching Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education
